The Department of Sociology at Vanderbilt is recruiting for a tenured Associate or Full professor faculty position, beginning Fall, 2008. Areas of specialization are open, although we have particular interest in scholars with distinguished research and teaching records on health and mental health; community, culture; crime, law, deviance; race, class, gender.
Applicants should submit a letter of interest in the position, curriculum vitae, examples of recent scholarship, information on teaching effectiveness, and three letters of reference. (Six letters will be required for finalists.)
